New Hampshire Training Institute on Addictive Disorders
The New Hampshire Training Institute on Addictive Disorders (NHTIAD) develops, coordinates and sponsors professional development events for a wide range of professionals working with individuals, families and systems affected by alcohol and other drug use, abuse and dependence.
These events meet continuing education credentialing needs for those seeking and maintaining professional license/certification of addictions in treatment and prevention.
The Training Institute also provides professional preparation and workforce development for professionals in other mental health and healthcare fields seeking addictions-related training.
NHTIAD collaborates with the Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services and other community organizations to identify the training needs of professionals working in all fields of substance abuse and in the development of workshops, conferences and professional symposia on addictions prevention and treatment.
NHTIAD is an approved education provider with the New Hampshire Board of Licensing for Alcohol and Other Drug Use Professionals.
